Junior High Principal's Message 

Greetings Parents and Families of Washington Junior High School, 

My name is Lou Magnotta and I am the Principal at Washington Junior High. It is my privilege and honor to work with our school, the Washington School District, and its community. I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning and growing with our students, while also working with our professional staff and you, our parents and community members. 

My main focus is on the Washington School District Mission, “Together We Make a Difference!” To achieve this goal, the Washington administration and teachers are dedicated to providing our students with a stimulating learning environment so that students can reach their highest level of individual ability. Washington Junior High also has a commitment to maximizing efficiencies in all areas of the district, promoting continuous improvement, and offering a rigorous curriculum by focusing on driving quality professional development. 

I am eager to continue our work with the staff, administration, students, parents, and the entire Washington community to continue our pursuit of excellence in academics, athletics, art, and activities in order to achieve our ultimate goal of preparing students to reach their full potential in a changing world. I welcome the opportunity to meet you, and I look forward to establishing a positive working relationship with you. Getting to know you and your children is very important to me and I am happy to be a part of the Washington Family!
