It is our pleasure to be the Elementary Principals of the Washington Park School. Our staff is committed to providing your child with the very best education available in a welcoming, safe environment. Our school community believes all children are capable of reaching their fullest potential. We strive to create a personalized learning experience, academically, as well as from the social and emotional standpoint daily within the classroom setting.
The K-2 curriculum is aligned to the PA Core Standards. Our students have the opportunity to not only learn face to face, but also from a digital platform, as every student is provided his or her own chrome book. During the school day, student’s classes will be ELA and Math, with Science and Social Studies embedded in learning throughout the day. Special classes may include: library, computer, art, music, physical education and math strategies. Students have the opportunity to attend after- school tutoring throughout the year, as well as partnerships within the community.
